This course is designed to develop skills and relevant knowledge in removing hair from intimate female areas using various waxing techniques.
The learner will learn to consult with the client, prepare for waxing service, carry out the treatment and produce a treatment plan. They will also need to provide treatment advice to the client, particularly around the avoidance of certain activities that may cause contra-actions post-treatment and appropriate home care advice.
To carry out this treatment, one must maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures and show a professional and ethical approach throughout the service.
The main outcomes of this qualification are:
– Maintain safe and effective methods of working when providing female intimate waxing services
– Consult, plan and prepare for waxing services with clients
– Remove unwanted hair
– Provide aftercare advice
