This qualification is designed for those who currently work or wish to work in the field of assessment and internal quality assurance. It is designed to support the Assessment and Quality Assurance of all Apprenticeships and vocational qualifications.

The purpose of this qualification is to confirm competence in an occupational role to the standards required. It is intended for those who maintain and improve the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre.

Qualification Structure

To be awarded the NCFE Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, learners are required to successfully complete 2 mandatory units.

Mandatory Units

– Unit 01: Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment

– Unit 02: Internally assure the quality of assessment

Work/Industry Placement Experience

To be awarded the NCFE Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, learners will require access to a workplace environment.
